I am a photographer with a penchant for boudoir photography.
Both the male and female body has been studied for centuries through all the arts mediums and will continue to do so.
I first gained an interest in photography many years ago via a close friend with a camera. Although not initially interested in people pictures, I began to become intrigued with all things photography and devoured books and magazines to glean any information I could to improve my skills.
I decided to take a portraiture course and a lighting course to further my understanding. During this period of study I somehow unwittingly became more and more interested in the human form, to the point of shooting portraits almost exclusively.
Quite naturally, this led to the deeper study of the nude and boudoir genres I shoot today.
I believe that anybody should be free to be photographed in this way if they so desire, without any attention toward shape, size, age, looks or anything else.
Of course, everybody has a different level of confidence when it comes to posing in this way, all the way from totally carefree to sheer terror, but with a little guidance and a clear idea of what we're aiming to achieve on each shoot, you can walk away feeling proud of yourself with some fantastic images.
Believe it or not, I'll probably be a lot more nervous than you!
It's taken a while to get here and with a few bumps along the way but this is me, this my art, this is what I do and I love it.
I hope you will too.
